Umberslade has overall responsibility for the Wapping Wharf regeneration project. It is a family-owned property development company, headed up by director Stuart Hatton and is planning to retain a long-term interest in the project.
Umberslade has a track record in developing and managing property across residential, commercial, retail and industrial sectors in the UK and abroad.
The homes in phases one and two have been delivered by Umberslade in a joint venture with Muse Developments, one of the country’s leading names in mixed-use development and urban regeneration. Alec French Architects were the lead architects on phases one and two.
Most of the site area is owned by Umberslade but the masterplan also covers waterfront land and buildings, including M Shed, owned by Bristol City Council.
